Casting conundrum Acclaimed director Rohit Shetty, known for his cop universe films, faces a challenge in casting his upcoming biopic on Rakesh Maria, the celebrated former Commissioner of Mumbai Police. Shetty's next Shetty aims to begin filming after completing his next cop universe project, "Singham Again," releasing this Independence Day. About Rakesh Maria Maria, an IPS officer (1981 batch), achieved fame for cracking the 1993 Mumbai blasts case and played a crucial role in investigating the 26/11 attacks. Biopic based on autobiography The film is an adaptation of Maria's 2020 autobiography, "Let Me Say It Now."
