The new content plans are cheaper than its current plans and are aimed at offering an adfree experience likeDo note that sports content, including the IPL, will continue to be free with Jios adsupported tier. Existingusers will be upgraded to Jios new plans for free. The introduction of JioCinema Premium breaks the numerous cost and quality barriers that exist in accessing premium entertainment. Do note that the company has not announced longterm plans and you only have the option to select from the monthly plans. JioCinema has said that these are introductory prices. The actual prices of the plans are 59 and 149 respectively. JioCinema has announced several partnerships over the last few months, including with HBO and Paramount.
