Now Play This 2024 review – the eccentricity is the point

This year's theme is liminality, which explores the space between two states. The event features games that are not designed to be mainstream hits, but rather to provide visitors with new experiences and ways of thinking about video games. Some of the exhibits this year include "Beyond the Garden," a melancholy recreation of a lost forest, and "The Edge of the World," a video work that explores the edges of the commercial video game Cyberpunk 2077.
